LAX American's Remote "Bus Gate" Terminal

LAX American's Remote "Bus Gate" Terminal
April 2014

A short walk next door to T4 and with PreCheck, we were in the Admirals Club by 2PM.  Twenty minutes later, we headed for the Gate 44 bus gate and the luxurious bus ride to AA's remote Eagle terminal.

Major progress in the past couple of months.  Virtually all of the terminal has now been renovated.  Unfortunately, it still takes a crappy bus ride.  Pics from a few weeks ago.

With seemingly only the Admirals Club still under construction.

But we must be getting close as the Liquor Permit application has been posted. ^

Lunch

Seems like I've been on these LAX-DEN Eagle flights every week for last few months.  Despite being a regional jet, the 1-2 F seat is pretty comfortable.

And typically excellent service, although not so much today.

A few months ago, this flight had no meal service.  Now it does.  Not sure that is good news or bad news, especially today.  Choice of chicken salad or roast beef sandwich.  The sandwich was dry, gross, inedible.  Potato salad was tasty though.

Fortunately, I had assumed no meal and bought a couple of chicken wraps a the Natural Break outlet in the remote terminal just prior to boarding.

On time arrival back at DIA and we were home 40 minutes later.  What a great trip to Japan.  With some wonderful experiences and outstanding Singapore service.  Thanks everyone for following along and for all of your kind comments.
