We arrived at Gate K-7 which was almost directly across from the Terminal 2 Satellite First Class Lounge.
This was my 2nd visit here and I really like this lounge. Very attractive with lots of windows for plane watching.
While Mrs. SFO777 headed to one of the sleep rooms for a nap, I explored this beautiful lounge.
The lounge attendant showed me the new outdoor terrace which I hadn't noticed last month. It's a nice feature but small... and likely to be used mostly as an outdoor smoking lounge.
None of the wines interested me so I went with a beer...
WIth Mrs. SFO777 napping, someone else joined me for lunch.
My Viennese Schnitzel.
Which was delicious...
... but not as fabulous as this one at the FCT in Frankfurt last year.

My LAX flight arrived at the new Satellite Terminal 2. Even though my connecting MUC-LHR flight departing from the H gates, I decided to head to the Satellite First Class Lounge.
And the new First Class Lounge. Very nice with the full complement of FCL amenities.
Now there's a table with a view. 
So glad that I stopped at this FCL today, as my LHR flight is departing from a remote stand! At MUC, that means private driver and car to my plane. ^

I was the first to arrive and board, with the rest of the pax still on the bus on the way over.
Yeah, the ever uncomfortable phony Business Class seats that European airlines get away with.
At the least protocol is to use the curtain to block the galley from the cabin.
Yeah, that looks like a comfy Business Class experience. 
Today's lunch/snack. A tasty papaya shrimp salad with a meh mini-slice of chicken.

With a 30 minute delay for traffic in IST, we arrived MUC 30 minutes late and only spent 20 minutes in the FCL before heading out to our 4th security of the day and H-18.
Unfortunately after the long walk and a 10 minute wait, our flight went mechanical at T-30.
So we trekked back to the FCL for the 3 hour delay to wait for the inbound LAX flight to be turned around for our flight. As Mrs. SFO was hungry, we dined at the FCL restaurant for the first time.
She enjoyed the Wiener Schnitzel...
and my Lobster Ragout Thermidor was quite good...
