Dinner at Michelin two star Belcanto

On our last night in Lisbon, we enjoyed a fabulous meal at José Alvarez’ Belcanto, an exceptional Michelin 2 star experience. Ranked #42 in the world in the 2025 San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best lists, Belcanto was a pure delight. Amazing food and excellent wines with impeccable service. What a thoroughly enjoyable three hours.

But first, our now nightly stop at Rocco.

And a short walk around the corner to Belcanto.

We both started with another Porto Tonic.

Our first starter was the insanely delicious European Lobster "Caesar Salad" with avocado.

Moving on to bottle 2, a lovely Portugese Pinot.

Scarlet shrimp with sprouts, green curry and apple.

For the main, Junior opted for the Matured Sirloin, onion tart, spinach, almond spread and truffle sauce

My Suckling pig, pork trotters with coriander, orange peel purée and lettuce heart.

Fabulous.

And a selection of desserts to finish an incredible foodie experience.

And then off to Rocco with new found friends from Belcanto.
