Lucky today to both arrive and depart from the A gates, home of my favorites Emirates First Class Lounge.
Time for breakfast lunch a meal in the Fine Dining Room.

When I get this alert from Garuda. Say what?? My CGK-MEL is delayed 18 HOURS!!!!
OK, time to search for an alternative way to get to MEL by Sunday night.
Step 1 in the search is more wine. LOL
Now we're talking. Perfectly medium rare fillet with béarnaise.
Off to my gate. This would have been nice but would have cost $10,000+ more on a multi-city. No thanks.

Emirates First Class Lounge A in Dubai
My personal Emirates First Class rep met me as I deplaned and escorted me to the First Class Lounge.
Always fun checking out the wine coolers.
My first choice for "breakfast".
And then the fabulous 2006 Angelus Premier Grand Cru Classé
Wowza!
Wagyu beef fillet for my main.
Perfectly prepared and amazing with béarnaise and fries.
Relaxing in one of the oh so comfy Pods, before heading to my gate.

Emirates A First Class Lounge Dubai
With a 7 hour Dubai connection, I had plenty of time to relax, nap, drink and dine in Emirates’ massive A First Class Lounge.
Beautiful First Class Lounge Fine Dining...
Time to check out the wine fridges...
Change of pace today with the excellent Lobster Roll.
And nap time in the cool and comfy Pods.
Since the Dubai-Bangkok flight departed from the B concourse, I headed over a little early to check our the wine offerings in the B First Class Lounge.
And wow, great bartender found a bottle of Opus One!!
