Off to London
Today I’m off for a day in London and then two days in my beloved Paris, a last minute change from previously booked Singapore and Kuala Lumpur as I decided to avoid Dubai this month. This morning it’s Delta to JFK, the Chelsea Lounge and then British Airways First Class to Heathrow.
First stop is the beautiful new Denver Delta Sky Club.

Another gorgeous Colorado sunrise.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

My afternoon at JFK
Since I arrived at A12, my first stop is the nearby Delta Sky Club.
Nice outdoor terrace, especially on a sunny day.
Then to the AirTrain for the short rider to Terminal 8.
And AA/BA First Class check-in.
Then to the Chelsea Lounge, the AA/BA First Class Lounge.
Now we're talking.
Nothing to wow about on the wine list.
Time for lunch.
Beef tartare. Meh.
On the other hand, the Papardelle with lamb ragu was excellent.
And the decadent Chocolate Nemesis to finish.
And then quiet room to relax before my flight.

British Airways First Class New York to London
I’ve enjoyed my recent British Airways First Class experiences, and today was no exception. Excellent service, good food and champagne on this all too short 6 hours flight to Heathrow.

On a beautiful morning for a walk to my hotel.
Hyatt Regency London - Churchill
My hotel for the day and night, the perfectly located Hyatt Regency London Churchill.
No Globalist upgrade today, but my room was ready at 9:15am.
After a nap and shower, lunch at my first of two Indian restaurants for the day, Gymkhana group’s Michelin star Ambassador Clubhouse.
Oh my!
Pleasant walk back to the Hyatt on a gorgeous afternoon.
