Emirates A First Class Lounge Dubai

With a 7 hour Dubai connection, I had plenty of time to relax, nap, drink and dine in Emirates’ massive A First Class Lounge.

Beautiful First Class Lounge Fine Dining...

Time to check out the wine fridges...

Change of pace today with the excellent Lobster Roll.

And nap time in the cool and comfy Pods.

Since the Dubai-Bangkok flight departed from the B concourse, I headed over a little early to check our the wine offerings in the B First Class Lounge.

And wow, great bartender found a bottle of Opus One!!

Emirates First Class Lounge at Dubai A Concourse

With nearly 4 hours before my flight to Seattle, I headed for my favorite DXB lounge, the A concourse First Class Lounge. The A First Class Lounge spans the entire length of the A concourse and is the largest First Class lounge in the world, with multiple restaurants, bars, and a full luxury shopping centre. Sampled some great wines and enjoyed a fave, the excellent Butter Chicken. Then a nap in one of the incredibly comfortable Pods before heading back to the B concourse for my flight.

Off to Fine Dining

And checking out all the wine options...

The Breakfast and All Day Menus...

Spectacular Burgundy...

And a great Napa Cab find...

Butter Chicken...

Wow!

After breakfast/dinner/whatever... relaxing time in the oh so comfy Pods.

Emirates First Class Lounges at Dubai DXB

With an 8 hour Dubai connection, lots of time to visit and explore the wines in all the Emirates First Class Lounges.   Since I arrived at a B gate, I started with the B Lounge, mostly to check out the wine offerings.   I never really liked this lounge, even more so after the "renovations".

Sprawling dining room with zero personality.

The worst part of the renovations is the lack of any visible wines anywhere, with all the wines are hidden behind the bar.

I had to ask to see what wines were available.  Bartender was happy to line them up and give me a taste of whatever I wanted to try.

After 15 minutes or so, I headed for the long walk to the C lounge, which is the smallest of the First Class lounges.

Much more attractive and intimate than the B lounge.

But no hidden gems.

Saving the best for last, the long walk back to B and then the train to the A gates.

And the best for last.  The A First Class Lounge, the largest First Class lounge in the world.

Checking out the wine selection.

Time for dinner in the elegant A Fine Dining room

The wine selections.

Starting with a beautiful Corton.

And lovely Ducru.

The Butter Chicken was fabulous.

As was the tiramisu.

After dinner, off to the quiet room for a couple hours rest.

And then back for round 2.  lol

Hokkaido scallops were delicious.

The Iranian mixed grill was wonderful.
