Air France La Première to San Francisco
Hard to believe that 4 days later I’m back on the same Air France La Première flight to San Francisco. I had definitely not intended to spoil the SFO grandson quite this much but it was a last minute scramble to find flights as I hadn’t realized until the week before that the ManCity-United game was moved from Saturday to Sunday. The good part of that move was no Virgin Atlantic as their Monday flight did not have award seats. The only award seats available were Air France La Première. Quel dommage! LOL. And Flying Blue was having a 100% bonus mileage sale. The only bad part of the trip was having to endure the abomination that is Manchester Airport Terminal 2 with jet bridges 4 flights of stairs down from the gate and concourse. Why does the UK have the worst airports in the world? But once on board, even Air France Euro Business Class was excellent on a new A220. And in the La Première Lounge, we both enjoyed Alain Ducasse Coquillettes Truffe/Noir aka Truffle Mac n Cheese. And another wonderful La Première flight to San Francisco.
Not a big fan of the fake European Business Class but the new Air France A220 is not bad with two seats on the AB side and an open aisle seat.
What a stupid airport design. The jet bridge is 4 flights of stairs down from the gate and concourse. WTF?
Our wonderful La Première assistant met us as the door opened and escorted us downstairs to our private limo to the La Première Lounge.

At around 30 minutes before departure, our La Première assistant escorted us to our limo and our 77W to San Francisco.
Yeah, this will work. LOL.

An hour or so before landing, pre-arrival meal. Langoustines were wonderful.
As was the creamy crab cannelloni.
