Hawke's Bay Wine Tasting

We headed down for a late breakfast before today's wine tour.

And quite possibly the best Eggs Benedict ever.

I had researched Hawke's Bay wine tour operators and decided on highly recommended and reasonably-priced Prinsy's Tours. http://www.prinsystours.co.nz
Our guide Ian was simply wonderful.  Knowledgable, friendly and just a pleasure to spend time with... unlike you know who.  LOL.
First stop this morning was Craggy Range Winery.

Next up was Black Barn Winery, whose Reserve Chardonnay was really enjoyed at lunch yesterday.

And then lunch at Mission Estate Winery, the oldest winery in the region.

And another great Hawke's Bay Chard.

And delicious lunch.  A big wow on the bread!

OK, one of the best desserts ever.

Yeah, that didn't last long.

We bagged the afternoon wineries and headed to Te Mata Peak, the highest point in the region, for a panoramic view.

Hey, we were there earlier.  A birds-eye view of Craggy Range Winery.

Back to Cape Kidnappers for a nap, and then back to the trough for another fabulous meal.

OMG, no mas, no mas.
