Off to New Zealand via Dallas and Sydney

Today I'm off for two days in New Zealand instead of two days in India.  The catalyst was India's notoriously dysfuntional visa process which took more than a week for approval.  While waiting for said approval, I found an elusive DFW-SYD Qantas First Class award seat for 110,000 American miles.  So New Zealand it is although I now have a brand new 5 year India visa for future use.  First up today is a mid-morning United flight to DFW to meet a friend and enjoy a real Texas BBQ.  Nice to see an empty CLEAR+ PreCheck security check-point.

First stop is the Capital One Lounge in the A concourse.

Nice ambiance and bar.

And delicious food.

Then over to the B concourse for my flight to DFW.

Nice new interior to a 21 year old bird.

Light snack.  LOL.
