At T-4 hours, empty Qantas check-in counters.

Insane queue for non PreCheck security.

First stop for the American Flagship Lounge, where the entrance has sadly now been combined with the Admirals Club.

Ya think?

After all the effort, this place is crowded and not really worth the effort.

My next try was the Capital One Lounge which now has exclusive use of the former Flagship Lounge entrance.  I added myself to the "35-45 minute" wait list.

Then over to The Centurion Lounge, where my list was another 35-45 minutes.

So I chilled in comfy concourse seats while I waited to see which waitlist cleared first.

And the winner was the Amex Centurion Lounge which cleared after just 25 minutes.

Snagged a good seat at the bar and enjoyed the 2nd half of the Chiefs/Bills game.
