Emirates First Class to Dubai

My 36 hours of Emirates First Class starts with 17 hours from Auckland to Dubai, one of Emirates’ longest flights at 8,823 miles. Truth be told, I’m in New Zealand because there was First Class award availability ex-AKL, with connecting award availability to Seattle. On board, amazing as always. Wonderful service, great food and wines making Emirates First Class an absolute joy to fly. Even better with an empty suite across the aisle for my bed, and a refreshing A380 shower prior to landing in Dubai.

Love it when there are empty suites to request for sleeping.  My bedroom across the aisle.

And a great 7 hours of sleep.

And a refreshing shower 90 minutes from landing at Dubai.

Emirates First Class Dubai to Seattle

After four hours in the gorgeous A First Class Lounge, I’m back in the B concourse for my 15 hour Emirates First Class flight to Seattle. I went to sleep right after take-off and managed to get nearly 10 hours of sleep, before lunch. As always, wonderful service, great food and fabulous wines making Emirates First Class an absolute joy to fly.

Immediately after take-off, our attendant made my bed and I slept for nearly 10 hours!!

Heirloom tomato salad to start.

Roasted beef carpaccio with thyme.

The Tandoori Lobster was out of this world.

Apple pie with crème anglaise and salted caramel sauce. 

Beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest on approach to Seattle.
